Prices & Supported Cameras

The system is not compatible with all 35mm still cameras.
Not all camera models permit interchanging focusing screens.
Furthermore, replacement screens are not available for all cameras.  Also, keep in mind, although the physical dimensions of the camera aperture are consistent from one manufacturer to the next the exact shape of the guide rails which hold the film against the pressure plate and the trough created by them are unique to each camera maker and model.  These dimensions determine the fit of the glass insert which causes the film to be marked.

Send us your focusing screen - we will scribe it with one of our screen versions.
There are a number of models which we have tested.  If the compatibility of your camera with our system is not confirmed in the list below please inquire and we will research your particular model.  If you are unable to find a replacement focusing screen for scribing contact us. We may be able to help.  The price for scribing a supplied screen and returning it with a matching glass insert is listed below.  The insert is the same for all cameras.

We recommend choosing the simplest focusing screen -- often called "plain" by manufacturers.
